Why oh why oh why would anyone make monkey wallpaper??
I have no other news today. It's been a little crazy and we now have a lot of work to do. I'm reserving some judgement and seeing how this all pans out.

Oh my god why WOULDN'T someone want monkey wallpaper? A friend of mine was going to bash in a closet of his to make a "study cubby" for his desk, and laughed at me for suggesting wallpaper in that space (boys ... sheesh). But had MONKEY wallpaper been on the table, I bet he'd have been all over it!
Touch my monkey! Actually, that room is so hideous it's beautiful, sorta like Sandra Bernhardt. The wallpaper reminds me much of the wallpaper my grandma had in her bedroom when I was growing up -- it was white with a raised, red, equally elaborate but sans monkeys (lots of bastardized fleurs de lis, or maybe, in this case, fleurs de lit?), pattern that was -- I shit you not -- executed in raised, red fuzzy-felty-faux velvet. Of course, being 9 and pre-gay, I adored it.
You're such an excellent blogger. Thanks for this window into your world. It's inspiring. And though it sounds maddening at times, how much better is it than working the same old routine job with the same old routine sites and sounds here in Tucson? [Tornado in the Bronx notwithstanding] it sounds like you're having an awesome time.
Makes me think (more often than I already do think, which is already painfully often) "What the fuck am I doing here?!"
